We
had a nother really hot but really good week. We had a baptism this
last Saturday! First we had to clean our baptismal font which is
actually just a pool. It was pretty filthy and took us a lot of hours
to do but it was worth it.
The guy we baptized has been coming to church for quite some time now
and his wife is a member. Not until these last couple of weeks has he
made serious changes in his life. We invited him to be baptized and he
accepted it. The day of his baptism he was
so happy and looked like a different person. His wife was extremley
happy too. Its cool to see how this gospel changes peoples lives. He
was a man who drank a lot and wasnt very happy. Now he is preparing to
go to the temple and one day will be able to
baptize his son. I know this gospel is true and that this church is
true. We have all the knowledge that we need to be able to return to
live with our heavenly father and our families forever.
We have one more week before transfers. I’m pretty sure we will both stay here but you never know what is going to happen. Thanks for all the support and love.
